**thankyou,shukriyaa, merci.

“Many Thanks…”

This is a page, like all the rest, that I will continue to update as the many events in my life continue to occur (updates will continue at the bottom of the page, so please scroll to see most recent additions. People may be repeated as the list/years goes on (though I will not name them). I have tried to get down as many “Thank You’s” as I can, but I know there are more.  It is a page dedicated to the many things I am grateful for, whether they be from people or just things that I am eternally appreciative of.  I will not give names, for those who I address will know who they are, and I believe that when someone truly gives they do not need to have their name published for the public. There are some people who I thank on a daily basis, and some for whom maybe I only knew for a brief time in my life.  For me, it does not matter if I’ve known you for a day or for my whole life.  Everyone has taught me something, and for that I am thankful.

*  *  *  *  *  *

1. Thank you for everything you taught me on life, love, and what it means to be Authentic and have Humility.  You showed me what it was to be loved and by doing so how to love others.  You’ve showed me the importance of following my dreams and that not even the sky is the limit.  You gave me time, and were always there for me; as any child knows, having your parent present for you throughout your life has a huge impact on the type of person you become.  ”Thank You” will never be enough, so instead I will continue to show my thanks by making my dreams come true and showing you that “being there” made all the difference. I love you, and your imagination. Thank you for showing me how to be Child-Like.

2. Thank you both for being there to play with me, make trouble with me, and despite our childish disputes, loving me.  For making mudslides in the backyard with me, for always thinking of the most sentimental gifts for me.  You’re the best siblings a sister could ask for.

3. Thank You for being the only Constant relative throughout these hard times.  For being there and giving without questioning.  For co-signing my mothers car, helping me with school etc…among many other things I don’t have enough room to list. For breakfasts in Pennsylvania (children never forget who was and wasn’t there).  For taking me to that Piano Concert. (we sat to the left of the stage and I remember it vividly). For playing many games with me as a child when I’m sure you had other things to do.  For coming to visit me still, for taking me to the supermarket near my new apartment and for  talking with me. For  still being there today.

4. Thank You for co-signing my car lease.  That takes a lot of trust and I am grateful for that.  Thank You for being there for me and my family, even though you shared no DNA or blood of mine, I felt you closer to a father than I ever had.

5. Thank You for being my best friend throughout school.  Your sensitivity towards any terrible experience will be something I’ll never forget.  You listened and you are one of the only ones who has stood by me to this day and your family was my family. I love you all. Thank You.

6. Thank You for being an understanding teacher for two years of my three in highschool.  You appreciated my hard work, appreciated my effort, and saw that despite my absence from school, I never made excuses. You were one of the two teachers that made going to school just a bit easier. I will be forever grateful for that. Merci beaucoup.

7. Thank You for being an understanding teacher in my last year of highschool.  Despite my trouble with your class (just because it wasnt my strongest subject) you always saw my hard work.  Always valued my attempts, and how I always did my best.  I never thought I would look forward to Chemistry class, but knowing that you were there to help me understand and not punish me as other teachers did, was a relief.  I will never forget your help, especially with my Final.  Thank you so much.

8. Thank You for the fun adventures on Green Briar Lane.  Too many to list here, but having you to share my imagination with added color to my childhood.

9. Thank You for taking me on my Birthday shopping trips to KOHL’s when i was younger.  For baking cookies and doing art projects with me as a kid.

10. Thank you for being my longest lasting friendship. You are my best friend, and understand me in ways others don’t.  When I first met you, you were just a boy on a pogo stick but have grown up to be a person I consider a close friend; someone I respect, trust,  and love. Thank you for laughing with me, and being the one friend I can call to have a philosophical conversation with.

11. Thank you for mothering #10, and being my home away from home.  Thank you for taking me to Europe for my first time, and doing your very best to make me relax. Love you, and I am happy to think of you as family.

12. Thank You for befriending me halfway through my Junior year in highschool, and understanding what it is to be a kid with a dream, and only surround yourself with others of the same motivation level.  I appreciate your talent, motivation, and your patience with how busy I am.  Because you too, are busy busy busy making your future your present. Thank You for being my friend, and just as much of a goof as you are serious.

13. Thank You for signing me as a client three years ago. Thank you for sending me out for possible jobs, some of which have turned into jobs, and some of those have introduced me to some of my closest relationships. It’s always memorable and validating when someone believes in you.

14. Thank You for casting me. (all of you). I can’t begin to explain what that did for me. I’m sure you can imagine.

15. Thank You for sharing your closet (you and i have the same taste!), understanding the insanity of relatives, being my cousin(1st, 2nd whatever removed-doesn’t matter) and my sister that I never had, plus appreciating the meaning of hand-written greeting cards.  Despite the distance from coast to coast, and despite the fact that you only entered my life a mere 2 years ago, you are closer to me than some people I’ve known my whole life.  Thank you for being there to listen, and most of all for just “getting it”. Love you dearly, and will always hold a special place for you in my heart.

16. Thank you , thank you, thank you.  We have never met. And still, I feel you understand my family and myself more than “others” ever have.  Your help to my mother, my brothers, and myself have meant so much, for you understand what it means to be a single mother.  Thank You.

17. Thank You for understanding what it is like to deal with “that” type of person, and not need me to explain my sadness in order for you to understand.  Thank you for being able to laugh at the same things I see as ridiculous, and at the same time, cry with me at some of the things that I know one day we will laugh at! You are my Hamlet Blood Sister, and even though we met only 9 months ago, I feel closer to you then I have to people I’ve known 9 years.

18. Thank You for putting up with my coffee addiction, and for being just as OCD as I am (along with #16!).  Thank You for being Mokie’s ManFriend, and for helping me get my first bike.

19. Thank you for living next door to me and asking me daily “Why aren’t you workin?”. Because it has reminded me (daily) that I am working; that I am working towards my goals, and that an artist never retires, or stops “working”. You’ll probably never read this, but believe me, you’ve given me motivation.

20. Thank you for helping me with my rent that one month, among other things.  you have been there for my mother and for my brothers and I more than others. thank you for being not only someone who i consider part of family, but a friend.

21. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful, talented, and refreshing children.  You are both family to me, and I feel extremely privileged to be part of your lives.

22. Thank You for telling me I “didn’t stand a chance against girls who had training”. Often, anyone who implies those things gives me more motivation than those who support me.

23.Thank You for paying for my first modeling shots.  I thought it was a gift, and since being reminded of it consistently, I will be sure to gladly one day repay you.  Gifts are meant to be given without reminders. Without strings attached. Thank You for exemplifying the incorrect definition of giving.

24.Thank You for ignoring the truth of what was really going on with my biological other half. You are the oldest of  your siblings. You should understand what it means to take responsibility. You’ve been an example of what family is not, and taught me how not to treat others. To not “push the truth under the rug”.

25. Thank You for the food cards instead of the food money.  You have taught me how terrible it is to control someone and abuse power through wealth.  How by controlling where that person buys their food or how much, brings one’s self-esteem down to zero. Thank You for your inconsistent loyalty to my mother. It has shown me how to be loyal. Thank You for turning your back that one July and showing me that it doesn’t matter if the Family Tree says “Sister”. It matters who was there and who wasn’t. You know what you said to me, and so do I.  Whether you decide to come clean about that is entirely up to you.

26. Thank You for calling me a “clutz” when I was ten. “Just like your mother Conor”. You’ve taught me how to be gentle with children because they always remember.

27. Thank you so much. You out of everyone.  Thank you for being kind and abusive. Verbally and Physically.  Thank You for being a rollercoaster of events; unstable and explosive.  Thank You for making broken promises.  Thank You for lying.  Thank you for your outrageous temper. Thank You for making scene(s) especially in the restaurants.  Thank You for screaming, and throwing things.  Thank You for being dis-respectful.  Thank You for dragging me by my boot. Thank You for mocking me, thank you for being the Child.  Thank You for never being there, thank you for the theatrics. Thank you for drinking.  Thank You for the lack of support on more levels than one.  Thank You for ignoring it all, and expecting a clean slate.  Dramatic? No. It’s just the truth. Unfortunately.  But it has taught me a lot. Thank You for being the perfect example of the person I never want to become.

29. Thank you for the positive feedback.

30. Thank you for meeting me in your office yesterday, listening to me and giving me the confidence and chat I needed. I truly value and appreciate your input.

31. Thank you for always following up on my appointments, getting feedback, and constantly supporting me; i cant tell you how much it means and how grateful i am that you entered my life this year. Having someone like you rooting me on, makes me want to do better and is truly a constant validation.

32. Thank you for recently hiring me; work is like oxygen (when you love what you do) and I’ve been able to breathe easier the past 2 weeks

33. Thank you for getting me. (You always have).

34. Thank you for being honest with me, feeling comfortable enough to bring up a serious topic even if you weren’t sure how I would take it. Thank you for exemplifying honesty and truth in order to help me further myself.

35. Thank you for correcting me on the treadmill the other day; even though you were a stranger, thank you ;-)

36. Thank you for having a philosophical conversation with me on set today and bringing humor to the day

37. Thank you for personally calling me yesterday to thank me for the letter i left for you.  Not many people do personal phone calls anymore and it’s so nice to know that you appreciated my package, and took the time out of your schedule to talk to me and acknowledge it. I look forward to our future conversations

38. Thank you for working with me and giving wonderful and articulate direction.  You made the project easy and fun but also serious in order to get the job done. Thank you for hiring me

39. Thank you for our weekly coffee dates! I love each and every one of them whether we are talking about a movie, venting about people, or laughing about silly memories you are a great friend to talk to.

*** 40. Thank (all) of you for giving me the wonderful opportunity to test with you on a great project.  ( 1. thank you for talking to me before my reading and giving me wonderful support and advice. 2. thank you for helping me get through to this next level and just to be seen. 3. Thank you (both) for making me feel comfortable on set and creating an ease to our reading.)

I really appreciate the opportunity, and will always be grateful.

41. Thank you for finding me a place to stay, my beautiful birthday bracelet, and overall , thank you for being you. For your action, follow-through,and honesty. You are one of the most authentic and grounded people I know and I am so honored to be a client of yours.

42. Thank you for driving in twice to help me move and pack boxes, being there for my mother and brothers, and being such a kind individual.  I am honored to call you my family and am so glad you are apart of our life.

43. Thank you my best friend with an incredible Fashion Sense ;-) for always being the friend with unconditional love and support.  Your belief in me will never be unacknowledged.

44. Thank you for opening your home to me twice now when I needed a place to stay.  Without hesitation you said “you never need to ask, just tell me when”

45. Thank you for allowing me to stay with you and the family for a week this summer.  Thank you for the “gift-in-my-shoe” amongst other things.  We would not have been able to survive the past few years if it wasn’t for your unconditional giving. and one day, i promise it will be repaid.

46. Thank you, for lending me your help with my dues. you are a “rara avis” as well, and knowing you’re a part of my life has been comforting from the first day we met.

47. Thank you, for looking at my tape even though it came in late. Timing is everything right? Well, in this case, I’m so grateful it just wasn’t too late. Thank you for being one of the reasons I was invited onto the project, it was a memorable experience that I will always cherish.

48. Thank you. For everything.  For having faith in me even before we met in person and basing your decision off of a tape and a Skype conversation. For giving me the opportunity to work, for making me feel safe enough to open up, and for your sense of humor which I believe is the only way we can balance out life’s drama (on or off a set).  It takes a rare person and director to be able to make everyone feel at ease on a set.  To bring out the humor yet have tunnel vision when its time for work isn’t something everyone is capable of doing.  And despite it being in your company for only a few days, you gave me things on a personal and career level that you may never even know about.  I only hope I was able to give you a fraction of what you gave me.

49. Thank you, for being such an easy actor to work off of.  It’s not always the case where you get someone who’s just as driven and passionate to get a job done, and I was in constant awe of not only your raw talent but your professionalism. Thank you for your humor, patience and compliments that I constantly felt I didn’t deserve opposite you.  Thank you for being part of what is now one of my most cherished experiences.

50. Thank you for the conversations in between takes, scenes and lunch breaks.  You’re a great kid, and so lucky to have 48 as your parent.  Don’t change, and don’t ever lose that sense of who you are because not many kids your age have the clarity of who they are or what they want to with their life.

51. Thank you, for your emails of understanding when I needed to express what I was trying to pick apart in my mind.  For showing me that I was able to make the “subconscious the conscious” because not many people want to go there. You’ve been the one constant relative in my life since I was a child, and without you I don’t know what I’d do. Let alone what my mother, brothers and I would’ve done. Thank you. (again).

52. Thank You for offering your unconditional fitness advice and workout routines whenever you had the opportunity.  You are truly the definition of someone who if they have the information, feels the obligation to share it with others.

53. Thank You for being my New York movie buddy, and most importantly helping my mother and I out over the summer.  If anything good came out of her first part-time retail job, it was our friendship with you.

54. Thank you for indirectly confirming that what I know to be ‘love’ is that it does not hurt.

55. Thank You (two) for being giggling, care-free beams of light in my life over the past few months.  Watching you two was not a job, it was an opportunity for me to observe how beautiful children make the world.   And thank you to your mother for bringing you into the universe and being equally as wonderful.

56. Merci pour cinq années de coupes de cheveux et d’amitié. Votre humour et talentne cessera jamais de m’étonner. Merci pour ma mère, y compris aussi bien. Il n’ya personne tout aussi généreux que vous.

57. Thank You for your Persistence and young advice despite my firm belief that there is no such thing as age.  5 years is not much younger, but still you remind me of myself just a few years ago.  Thank You for being the equivalent of what would have been a sister if I had one.

58. Thank You, (once again) for being such a true friend.  For letting me borrow your car, again, this week since I got to L.A. So glad you came into my life.

59. Thank you for co-signing the lease to my car. You are an amazing friend, and I can’t thank you enough.

60. Thank you 3 amazing human beings for not only being my LA family, but for being the first group of people to truly welcome me to your family.  Thank you for my iPod, which even without, I do feel Loved.

61. Thank you for organizing my birthday dinner and even taking care of the bill as if just being in my life wasn’t already enough.  Almost 3 years your client I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you’ve believed and continue to believe in me and my career.

62. Thank you for throwing me my first Surprise Birthday party.  You’re an amazing friend and you’ve been there for me with unconditional giving and love for the 2 years we’ve been good friends.

63. Thank you for the water and advil the other day.

One Response to **thankyou,shukriyaa, merci.
